ANN ARBOR, Michigan (October 22, 2025) — Patrick Novecosky joined Ave Maria Radio host Dr. Marcus Peter today on “Ave Maria in the Afternoon” to discuss how some of the great teachings of Pope St. John Paul II haven’t been fully accepted by society — and by many Catholics.
The discussion centered on an article Novecosky wrote for Catholic Answers — 3 John Paul II Teachings that the World Should Learn — to mark the 47th anniversary of John Paul II’s pontificate.
Novecosky suggested that the Polish pontiff’s teachings on human sexuality, his condemnation of socialism, and his passion for truth and freedom have been ignored or forgotten by many Catholics.
